Workshops

Power & Pulp
Laura’s workshop, Power & Pulp is aimed towards professional dancers. She shares her unique practice she has developed, drawing upon a range of vocabulary from both contemporary and commercial styles. With an emphasis on musicality, this class predominantly focuses on finding the contrast between explosive and nuanced movement, challenging and expanding our bodies and artistic choices within our own practice. The class will involve musicality/improvisation tasks, set exercises before moving into a choreographic phrase. Expect a joyous, playful environment for you to explore and be creative!
Jazz & Commercial
Laura’s expansive knowledge of Jazz and Commercial techniques allows her to offer high quality and professional level training to both pre-professionals and professional dancers and Artists. She offers specialty classes/workshops focusing on technique, fundamentals, musicality and choreography elements of both styles. She has delivered workshops across the UK and Internationally and continues to hone her skills and knowledge to deliver up to date and worthwhile training to her students of all levels.

Dementia Workshops:
In 2023, Laura curated Dementia dance workshops as part of her project ‘Do You Understand Me?’. These workshops are tailored for people living with Dementia and their companions. In a relaxed and informal setting, each workshop focuses on stimulating the brain and improving the physical and mental well being of each participant using coordination skills, creative tasks, props and storytelling through movement (All tasks can be adapted to both standing and seated). Laura aims to create a supportive and encouraging space for people of the Dementia community to explore their physical creativity whilst improving their cognitive and mobility symptoms.

Laura provides fun, engaging and mood-boosting workshops for all ages. With her light-hearted and compassionate approach, participants are able to learn new skills, gain confidence and connect with like minded individuals.
